After breakfast proceed for sightseeing.
Visit: Doddabetta peak –a wonderful trekking spot. There is an observatory at the top of Doddabetta with two telescopes available for the public to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the whole district. The beautiful valley, plains of Coimbatore and the flat highlands of Mysore are visible from this point. The Chamundi Hills can be viewed from the peak.
Shooting point - It has thick forests with lush green meadows amidst them. The place offers opportunities for horse riding and a pleasant nature walk. A number of bollywood movies had some of their scenes shot at this spot. And therefore, it got the name 'Shooting Point'. A soft trek to the top can give some spectacular views. The horse riding experience is also quite thrilling.
Pykara waterfalls - a picturesque attraction. Pykara Falls are set amidst the backdrop of a lush green fo rest and are an absolute delight to witness. The Pykara River flows downstream from the mountains, over a series of waterfalls, and these are known as the Pykara falls. Overn ight stay @ Ooty.
Day 3: After an early breakfast proceed to the beautiful destination Coonoor by Nilgiri Mountain railway toy train ride. [Note: Toy-train tickets has to be brought directly through online booking or from the railway station standing in queue.] The Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train is the highlight of a visit to the popular hill station of Ooty. Aboard the Nilgiri Mountain Railway and take an exceptional romantic journey to the foothills till Coonoor. The driver will reach Coonoor station for pickup.
Later visit: Sims Park, Lamb’s Rock, Droog Fort, Dolphin’s nose (From this point, one can catch the breathtaking view of the Catherine falls hundreds of meters below). Overnight stay @ Ooty.
